I had a lovely two-night stay at The Central Hotel in Llandudno. The modernized rooms provided a comfortable space with all the necessary amenities, though a few things like the radiant heating and the lack of antibacterial soap were minor hiccups. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making me feel truly welcomed throughout my stay. Overall, while there were small areas for improvement, I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning.

Rooms

The room was modernized and clean, though a bit smaller than expected. I enjoyed the comfortable bed but faced some noise from adjacent rooms, which might be an issue for light sleepers. The TV was misrepresented in terms of streaming options, only offering cable TV instead of Netflix.
Service
10.0
The staff's friendliness was a highlight of my stay. Tony was quick to check me in and even helped with my bags, plus I received a personal phone call each morning to check on my needs, which was a thoughtful touch.
Location

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location just across from the beach, making it easy to explore local attractions and restaurants. It offered a serene escape from the bustling areas nearby, yet everything was within walking distance.
Dining

Breakfast was available with a variety of options, and the quality was delicious. I did notice that some items like skimmed milk weren't offered, but the overall dining experience felt good.

The room was clean and comfortable, offering lovely sea views, although I did notice some areas that could use updating. The location was fantastic with easy access to the beach and local attractions, making my visit enjoyable overall.

I had a good stay at The Central Hotel in Llandudno. The warm welcome I received from the staff was really good, and the modernized room and lovely bathroom added to my experience. However, I did notice some minor issues such as a bit of noise from adjacent rooms and a radiator that didn’t seem to work well at night.

Rooms
8.0
My room was modern and had a lovely bathroom with a large walking shower. It was cozy enough for my needs, although a little smaller than I had anticipated. Despite some noise from next door, I enjoyed a decent night's sleep with a comfortable bed.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. I appreciated the personal attention and helpfulness of the team, especially when I had a small query. It certainly added a nice touch to my visit.
Location

The hotel's location was really convenient. I found it to be just a 10-minute walk to the pier and close to many shops and restaurants. Being right opposite the sea front was a bonus as well.
Dining

I didn't have breakfast on my stay, but I heard great things about it. Guests praised the variety and quality, and I would consider it next time I visit. The bar area seemed inviting and a perfect place to relax.

The hotel provided free parking, which was definitely a great perk. I found some of the common areas to be inviting, contributing to a pleasant overall atmosphere during my stay.

7.4/10

My recent stay at The Central Hotel left much to be desired. While I appreciated the friendly staff, my experience was marred by cleanliness issues and an unwelcoming reception. The location was convenient, but the overall condition of the hotel felt quite dated and in need of improvement.

Rooms
5.0
The room was bizarrely decorated and not particularly clean, with ripped wallpaper and some maintenance issues like a noisy toilet. The bed, however, was clean and comfortable, which was a slight redeeming quality.
Service
5.0
The service varied significantly; the reception staff were not only unhelpful but also displayed limited English skills. There was a lack of communication regarding our room and breakfast details, which resulted in frustration.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was a plus, as it was close to local attractions and the beach. However, finding parking was challenging despite the claims of availability.
Dining
Facilities
5.0
The facilities seemed neglected, with many areas in dire need of updating and maintenance. The overall ambiance was not inviting, and safety concerns regarding fire exits were alarming.
